KRAV-MAGA was invented in Israel by Imi Lichtenfeld, with the purpose of teaching people how to defend themselves. The efficiency and beauty of Krav-Maga rise in the absence of rules, marks, achievements, pride and in the direct, short, realistic movements and philosophy.

In the beginning, there were few practitioners of this art: mainly Israeli military personnel, who were trained during their service. In time, Krav-Maga became popular not only among Israelis but worldwide as well, since it is so different from the other martial arts. Both professionals and regular people are interested to practice Krav-Maga because it is an art based on principles of self defense, opposing karate, judo and other sports.

The main advantages of practicing Krav-Maga are:
- you become more trustful in your own forces. You'll be
  able to efficiently defend yourself and your neighbours.
- you create and maintain a good fitness. These techniques
  put in motion each musche and each joit of your body!
- you reduce the daily stress, by involving yourself in a
  phisical activity which detach you from other problems.
